The purpose of this account is to make a place where all my public tweets will be posted and to allow me to respond to people who aren’t following me (Speaking of, Twitter should allow people to see Tweets you @ them in even if they aren’t following you). Anything that I want anyone to read and stuff that will be posted on my Facebook status (because it’s annoying for me to put # or any symbol infront of my tweets to filter for Facebook) and for people who I don’t know personally, but want to follow me.

If I don’t know you personally then I will be removing you from my followers list on MattyLight if I haven’t already, so you should start following mwoodruff. No hard feelings, just trying to organize and consolidate.

For those of you that I know personally, you don’t need to do anything. The plan right now is that MattyLight will contain ALL of my tweets and mwoodruff will only contain some of them.

UPDATE: I won’t be posting all of my @replies on both accounts, just the ones that are through the respected accounts.

Why? Because the amount of time that it was taking for me to customize every little thing on Drupal was taking up time that I really didn’t have. WordPress’s documentation and organization of files/functions/etc is much easier for me to understand and work with, making it faster for me to be able to make changes and customize it to my liking.

How awesome is that!?!?

This weekend I’ve been hanging out with a bunch of Trevor’s friends and we’ve been having a good time! We went to the lake on Saturday and it was awesome!! I’m sure pictures will be posted soon, but in the meantime, here’s an awesome video for you to watch if you have a Facebook account.

I decided that the old website just wasn’t doing it for me anymore, so I wanted to revert back to what I originally started with. I didn’t need the full CMS (Content Management System), the forums, the downloads section, etc. so I wanted to just take things back to being simple.

With this revamp, my old blog and posts will be gone for the most part. I might go through them and back post/re-post eventually, if I have the time. Also, I am going to try to make at least  one post a week, probably on the weekends, and try to get back into a schedule.
